I first approached Mad Cow Pictures about 3 weeks ago and sent my portfolio. I heard back from them within an hour. The next day I was in their studio doing an interview. During that week, I worked on test for a show where I got feedback and learned heaps from ex-disney director, Steve Trenbirth (Jungle Book 2). I started working there last Friday (7th)! I'm working on a flash animation and finish up towards the end of this month.
The other job I applied for, within the two weeks I was waiting to hear back from Mad Cow. My very good friend, Viv, gave me the heads up that Erky Perky were doing a 3rd series and looking for a props designer. I worked hard at my portfolio and Viv forwarded it (which I'm very grateful for) then got an interview with the series director and producer late last week. I just got confirmation today and I start... right after I finish at Mad Cow! X3
Good news comes in GIGANTIC packages... I also scored a role in an upcoming online radioplay series that sounds somewhat EPIC. It's done by a group called ExcelsiorRadio.net Anyway, more details when things start churning out for that!
Meanwhile I'm more than half way through my online digital painting course at schoolism.com. I haven't posted on it but here's a link to our class blog.
So all good news down my end. I'll be busy for the next few months, possibly more. >___< I guess, if you put your mind to it, you can really get what you want!!

im still practicing like you told me to at the manga workshop, check out my latest works for proof
